Kremlin – A Place Of Mystique

The word Kremlin is almost synonymous with the Soviet government and it would take back the memories to the era of cold war back in 1950’s and 1960’s. The place is said to have accommodated some of the world’s most powerful leaders. There is a lot of mystery still revolving around this place. When the Russian dominance witnessed its downfall post the USSR split, Kremlin had started losing its importance and is no more considered to be the power house.

Kremlin has witnessed the growth of several CIA agents, Bonds and the Russian Spies. You would never know the person’s true colors even though he/she might be your close friend. There is a greater probability to end up having relationship with a spy. Moscow has got a new lease of life post the communist capitalistic period. Kremlin is surrounded with some of the most beautiful natural spots of the country. The beautiful gardens on its West, Moscow River on its East and the Red Square to its South will offer a magnificent look to the place.

The burial place of Lenin is found at the foot of the Kremlin wall. This place has housed some of the notorious military men, spy agents and top government officials. The citadel has got a different picture and scenario about few decades back. Had it been few decades back, people would have been arrested if they had tried to cross the wall and tried to have had a casual walk. However, the days are gone and this place attracts most of the tourists due to its historic importance.
